“It felt like she’d turned up the happiness inside of me.” - Helen’s case study

I first met Helen back in October 2018. She was referred to me by a colleague who was aware of my passion for helping women who felt overwhelmed.

Helen was at a point where all the energy and joy in life had been sucked out of her after going through multiple miscarriages and the loss of her baby girl, Ivy-Rose who was stillborn at 20 weeks into her pregnancy. Not just that, but Helen also suffered with weight gain, sleep problems and severe endometriosis.

A stillbirth is the death of a baby after 24 weeks of pregnancy before or during birth. Stillbirth is one of the most devastating experiences any family can go through.’

Thank you, Helen, for being open and happy to share your story to inspire other women to think about their own well-being. It has been such a pleasure for me to help bring the spark back into Helen’s life and I am so lucky to have her as one of my regular patients!

Have a read about Helen’s experience with Five Element Acupuncture…

“I started going to acupuncture with Mandy to incorporate a physical approach to complement my wellness journey. Mandy took the time to really listen to my story and help me understand how to best treat the core issue and bring balance back to my mind, body and spirit. I was amazed how quickly I found the effects working for me, it was instant!

I remember my very first treatment. Mandy put a needle in my back and it felt like she had turned up the happiness inside of me.”

“Healing is not nursing or mothering. The way to care for a patient is just to be yourself and be with her, looking into her eyes.”

“I find the five-element approach so fascinating and incredibly effective, I would recommend it to anyone and of course Mandy as a Practitioner. Mandy is a beautiful soul, caring, supportive and seriously knows her stuff.

The treatment has helped me feel stronger and my sleep is better, clearing my head to think about other things like losing weight, eating healthy, exercising and making myself a priority focusing on self-care.

It has meant the world finding Mandy and have her treat me, she has helped me find myself again after the trauma I went through, as I didn’t think I would ever feel like myself again. I am so overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for Mandy.”

“I now feel like me again. Happy and Balanced.”

Helen
